Dr. Sean J. Ryan became the 12th President of Anna Maria College on July 1, 2025.
He holds a doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania, a graduate degree from Regis College and an undergraduate degree from St. Anselm College. A native of New England, Dr. Ryan most recently served as the Senior Vice President at Bellarmine University, directing for Administration, Strategic Initiatives, and Trustee Affairs. Dr. Ryan was appointed to positions of increasing responsibility at Bellarmine from 2007-2025, including Vice President for Enrollment Management and Dean of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
